Answer:
Technically, this topic is not often expressed. However, I believe ages 12 and up have access.
Explanation:
Why? At age 12, you are changing or altering into another stage and ageing. Also, from my perspective, at age 12 you have many similar responsibilities, rights and risks as a 13-year-old. Besides, not many people just want to see, like and follow others because of their photos. Additionally, you don't even know if their face, body and everything you see of them is true. So basically, you're making a risk to release fake ( or real ) images. Furthermore, once someone realizes who, what you are and look like, it's a possibility that they will take photos of your actual self and post it all over social media. That's all I have to say about children using social media. The most important thing is to realize the risk you're taking.
Which of these statements is interrogative in mood?
A. The team might be happy if the teacher extended the deadline.
B. You always find a way to let the other person see the light.
C. What inspired you to wear a periwinkle dress to a funeral?
D. I suggest that you be the bigger person in the disagreement.
Final answer:
The statement that is interrogative in mood among the options provided is C. "What inspired you to wear a periwinkle dress to a funeral?" as it directly asks a question, making it distinct from the other options which are statements, suggestions, or conditions.
Explanation:
The question asks to identify the statement that is interrogative in mood among the provided options. Interrogative sentences are those that ask a question, directly or indirectly, and are characterized by an inquiry about someone or something. These sentences typically start with a 'wh-' question word (who, what, where, when, why) or a helping verb (do, does, did, can, could, shall, should, will, would, may, might, must) and end with a question mark.
Looking at the options provided:
A. The team might be happy if the teacher extended the deadline. (Conditional Mood)B. You always find a way to let the other person see the light. (Indicative Mood)C. What inspired you to wear a periwinkle dress to a funeral? (Interrogative Mood)D. I suggest that you be the bigger person in the disagreement. (Subjunctive Mood)Option C, "What inspired you to wear a periwinkle dress to a funeral?" is clearly in the interrogative mood as it directly asks a question about the inspiration behind a choice of attire. This differentiates it from the other options that are statements (indicative), suggestions (subjunctive), or conditions (conditional), none of which directly inquire or ask a question.

what evidence does the author provide to support the claim that more people would ride bikes if bike trails were available
The author supports the claim by integrating expert opinions, quantitative research, and real-world examples to prove that bike trail availability could lead to increased cycling. This includes environmental impact studies and instances where incentives have encouraged the usage of alternative transportation methods.
Explanation:The author provides evidence to support the claim that more people would ride bikes if bike trails were available by presenting expert opinion, numerical evidence, and examples of successful implementations. For instance, an expert's testimony on the minimal environmental impact of mountain biking compared to hiking or horseback riding is used to assuage concerns about trail damage. Additionally, numerical data on population growth is utilized to highlight the need for alternatives to overcrowded city spaces, further supporting bike trail expansion.
Advocacy for mountain bikes on trails is bolstered by studies showcasing the relative lack of erosion caused by bikes compared to horses, giving environmental organizations reason to reconsider their stance. Conversely, the opposition cites the potential for erosion and the disruption of tranquility as reasons against sharing trails with bikes. However, these claims are positioned as less convincing when weighed against expert insights and data.
Finally, the argument is strengthened by referencing cities that have seen improvements in public transportation utilization through incentives, which parallels the idea that the provision of bike trails would similarly increase bike usage.

Should Cell Phone Use While Driving Be Banned?
During your next car ride, pay attention to how many drivers you see talking on a cell phone. I guarantee that what you see will disturb you. An article in CQ Researcher states, “more than 111 million Americans use mobile phones—more than one-third of the population.” These occupied drivers are increasing their risks of crashing at least six- to nine-fold. Numerous accidents have caused Americans to wonder, “Should talking on a cell phone while driving be banned?” In order to decrease the number of car accidents in America, people need to stop talking on their phones while driving.
According to Newsweek, collision rates for drivers using hand-held cell phones match the rates for drivers who are legally drunk. Holding a cell phone, having a conversation, steering a wheel, and concentrating on a road are too many tasks to juggle. A driver needs to fully concentrate on the road and prepare for obstacles such as pedestrians or sudden traffic. In 1999, a motorist dialing a cell phone lost control of her car and hit a toddler. Ryan Duffner was out walking the family dog with his mother in Lawrenceville, Georgia when his life tragically ended. A study conducted by the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society found that “cell phone distraction causes 2,600 deaths and 330,000 injuries in the United States every year.” If only those drivers had parked or waited to make those calls, little Ryan Duffner as well as thousands of others would still be alive today. In order to help eliminate these accidents, laws need to be enacted and enforced.
Handling a cell phone while driving has proven to be increasingly dangerous, yet people continue to do it. The government needs to get involved. The fear of receiving an outrageous fine will force people to stop talking on a cell phone while driving. “If the government sees the need to make more stringent efforts and issue more tickets [for distracted cell phone driving], we will. We did it for seatbelts, and no one thought it was important. But it saved lives,” says Brian Walsh, a police official. Concentrating on the road is just as important as wearing a seatbelt. More Americans are realizing this important fact. Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia have already banned cell phone use while driving. The rest of the country, however, still needs convincing. Some foolish people still oppose these laws.
Jim Wolf believes that if the government bans talking on a cell phone while driving, they should ban changing radio stations, drinking a soda, and eating while driving as well. “Distraction is a serious concern, but I don't think it’s substantially changed because of the cell phone," comments Jim. The research of Dr. David Strayer, a professor at the University of Utah, proves Jim wrong. According to him, “carrying on a conversation requires much more attention than passively listening to the radio or sipping a soda.” It is a far more interactive activity and takes a lot more time. In Michigan alone, cellular phones contributed to 879 accidents in 2003; this proves that cell phones are a substantially great distraction on the road.
Banning cell phone use while driving will save lives and reduce the number of accidents in this country. That is what matters. Australia, China, Kenya, Russia, and many other countries have already realized this. When will America?
In the passage, the author gains the interest and sympathy of the reader by
A. including the story of Ryan Duffner, who was killed in Georgia.
B. explaining the benefits of banning cell phone use while driving.
C. urging people to stop using their cell phones while driving.
D. showing the reader applicable statistics from trustworthy sources.

Explanation:
To learn German fast and easily without a computer, immerse yourself in the language through various techniques. Additionally, practice speaking as much as possible, even if it's alone or with a language partner. Regularly reading books, newspapers, or other texts in German will improve your comprehension and vocabulary. Writing assignments and notes by hand instead of typing can also solidify what you're learning.
Another method is to create a German-speaking environment around you by labeling items in your house with the German name to continuously expose yourself to the vocabulary. A crucial part of learning is also memorization and retention, similar to learning to ride a bicycle where you keep practicing until the skill becomes intuitive. Do mental exercises, like simple math or recalling information without resorting to technology, to improve your mental capacity and memory, which will assist in retaining the German language. Lastly, consistent repetition and practice are key; try to review and build on what you've learned every day.

How does one’s language force a person to think about time?
Answer:
Explanation: When you use different words in different tenses, it makes you think about the time these events took place. If I said “I walked yesterday” that was in the past but if I say “I’m walking” you know that’s present tense
Explanation:
I believe that one's language does not force a person to think about time., why? For example, if your native language is English, Spanish, Portuguese or any other language, it will be adhered to your language to do it like that and maybe you do not know how to explain that, you just do it naturally and effortless but on the other hand, if you are learning a new language, you are forced to think about time because you think about structuring a sentence in a good way and paying attention to all grammar tenses (present, past, future, present perfect, past continuous, etc) and if this is your occupation you have to speak that language perfectly and all the time you will be correcting yourself and doing the best you can.
According to King Arthur, what is the heart of Camelot?
Answer:
"This is the heart of Camelot, not these stones, not these timbers, these palaces and towers. Burn them all and Camelot lives on, because it lives in us."
Explanation:
King Arthur said that the heart of Camelot isn't really a place, but it lives in the citizens.
Final answer:
The 'heart of Camelot' is a symbolic aspect that could be interpreted as the chivalry and valor of its people, particularly figures like Sir Lancelot, as well as the majesty of Camelot as depicted in Arthurian literature.
Explanation:
The question "According to King Arthur, what is the heart of Camelot?" calls for an understanding of the stories surrounding the legend of King Arthur and his fabled city of Camelot. While the notion of the 'heart of Camelot' is somewhat symbolic and can be open to interpretation, Alfred, Lord Tennyson's poetic works, which often include references to Arthurian legends, suggest that the heart of Camelot may lie in the valor and chivalry embodied by its inhabitants, such as Sir Lancelot, and the majesty of the city itself.
Camelot in Arthurian literature is depicted as a place of wonder, with its stunning sights, bustling life, and the comings and goings of noble knights and ladies. The poem 'The Lady of Shalott' which references some of these characters and locations, provides a vivid imagery of life around Camelot, which could be interpreted as its 'heart'.

Essays are up to 3-5 body paragraphs, your intro paragraph explains what your essay is about but DO NOT add any evidence in your intro. Your thesis is at the end of your intro, the easiest way to write a thesis is to put your main ideas in chronological (first to last) order. Example: if your writing about why people should keep snakes as pets your thesis would be something like this: People should keep snakes as pets because they are loving, they are easy to take care of, and they don't cost much to take care of. Because the first point in your thesis is "They are loving" this means your first body paragraph should have evidence about how snakes are loving. Body paragraphs are easy, you find evidence for your key points and you elaborate (explain why they are important) on them. AFTER EVERY PIECE OF EVIDENCE YOU ELABORATE. And make sure you site your information. In closing paragraphs you just restate your prompt and thesis. For example: In conclusion, snakes are loving, easy to take care of, and don't cost much that is why people should keep them as pets.
Hope this helps! :))
